Our soccer field at home

I’m going to tell you how I came to love the game of soccer. Roll tape!!!
I tried playing AFL but I did not like It and my Dad’s back was bad.
So, we played soccer instead! I was not that great at kicking the ball at goal so I was the goalie! I did better at it. I had so much fun in goal! I stayed in it.
Who was the striker? You guessed it – my Dad!!!
So thats how I became the goalie. We played a lot of soccer at home but not when my dad was working. In 2007 it was Christmas time, I got the biggest present out of the whole family- a soccer field with a 3/4 goal that could move! Because my dad & my brother & I kept hurting ourselves, Mum got sick of it and gave us the field. And I can’t even tell you the number of times my Dad, Sebastian & I kept hurting ourselves before that.
Now where was I? Oh, that’s right, I was telling you how fun it was playing on the soccer field. That was the best soccer field I have been on, because I could run with out shoes & it was that soft that you jump & land and not hurt at all, but best of all it was green all the time.
